You are a divine child of a divine Creator

If you were to ask a random person on the street what their biggest obstacle is you would probably hear a variety of answers such as: I don't have time, I don't have the money, people don't like me, I'm so busy, I'm not good enough...But those answers are really just a cover for a bigger problem, that we are asking ourselves "who am I to be good enough" because that thought is on constant repeat in our minds we don't allow ourselves to dream, we don't allow ourselves to imagine what is possible. Because this world has told us for so long that there are specific ways to do things, that money comes before dreams, or that money is the dream, or that we are so tiny we couldn't hope to do something outside our lot in life.

I've been asking quite a few people lately what their dream is...you know what I hear, I hear minimization. I hear that they haven't really thought about it. They are so stressed out about their job, about school, about survival that people aren't even trying I should say aren't allowing themselves to dream. What about you? Are you trapped in survival mode, focused so much on the day to day that you don't see what is possible or that you lack belief that something else could be possible?

Our greatest limitation is lack of belief in ourselves and in Heavenly Father. We limit our dreaming because of a lack of belief, we think something is too big so we don't even try. Do you know who you are? Do you know that you are a child of the Most High, the most powerful being in the universe brought you into being and sent you to this earth. You have a divine potential, you have a purpose. That purpose is not served being small, by not wanting to stand out, to be a light, to be amazing. 

Our fear tells us not to be prideful, knowing who we are and acting on who we are is not pride, it is powerful, but not prideful. We empower others to be their best selves when we are our best selves. Heavenly Father truly intends for you to change the world, who else do you think is preparing the world for the return of His Son, who else can do the work that you have been specifically prepared to do. Your life, all the struggles, joys and pains have purposely created you into a being that can fulfill what only you can do.

Today, I invite you to think about what brings you joy, today, I invite you to reach for the impossible, to envision for yourself something that you've always wanted, or hoped for, but never thought was actually possible.You are a divine child of a divine creator, anything truly is possible, our only limitation is the one we give ourselves by not dreaming and not hoping. We are commanded to have faith, hope and charity. Faith to dream, hope that it can happen, and charity for ourselves as we try. Today I hope you will exercise that faith hope and charity to know that Christ covers any shortcoming and desires to work with you to create something brilliant. Do not let doubt and fear rob you of who you can be. Don't let negative voices direct your future, they want your failure, because you being you makes their job harder. Heavenly Father is actively seeking your success, all that is required is a little dream on your part. You get to the door, let Heavenly Father get the key.

And when your dream feels too big remind yourself, you are a divine child of a divine creator, anything is possible.
